John Lewis is expected to be the appointed store of the Games, and to open a special outlet selling Olympics merchandise at its new store in Stratford, East London, near the Olympics venues, according to the Financial Times.
The John Lewis partnership, which owns the chain of stores along with other UK retailing business Waitrose, has been a Champion Supporter of the London 2012 Organising Committeee for four years.
