The new tournament is the $4 million McGladrey Classic, held October 7 to 10 at the Sea Island Resort in Georgia, USA. The new sponsorship deal was agreed with Farmers Insurance Group, which replaces Buick as the sponsor of the tournament at Torrey Pines, San Diego.
"Yesterday's announcement as it relates to San Diego and today's announcement for the Fall Series really caps off our announcements for this year," PGA Tour Commissioner Tim Finchem said. "We are done. We have a full schedule ... the total playing opportunities for our players are consistent with the last couple years. Our prize money this year will be up slightly over 2009."
