Kinnear has been with Arsenal for five years and has been promoted from his previous role as head of marketing.
The club is still looking to hire four other senior executives: a retail director, a business development analyst, a head of global partnership development and a head of marketing.
Chief commercial officer Tom Fox will also recruit a number of support roles to strengthen Arsenal’s commercial operation.
