The Swedish press has reported that Kentaro is paying around 1.5 billion kronor for the rights, the equivalent of around $215 million over five years.
“We are delighted to have prolonged our present agreements with the Swedish Football Associations and are looking forward to continuing our cooperation with our highly valued partners SvFF, SEF, EFD and TV4,” said Philippe Huber, Kentaro Group CEO. “This comprehensive deal will enable all involved parties to further develop Swedish Football.”
Kentaro has already sublicensed a package of rights to Swedish media group TV4 Group, for commercial channel TV4, according to an official press release.
