IMG Media Australia manages the licensing of Australian cricket archive content on behalf of Cricket Australia and the Nine Network in all markets outside of Australia. It will also manage the digitising of the 650 hours of footage beginning from 1976.
The website features highlights of all international cricket played in Australia, including Ashes Tests, One-Day cricket (including World Series Cricket), featuring players such as Shane Warne, Dennis Lillee, Kim Hughes, Allan Border, Steve Waugh and Rod Marsh.
Cricket Australia CEO James Sutherland said the archive “unlocked a virtual hidden treasure of cricket highlights”.
Content development and media service business Omnilab Media was responsible for the digital media migration and archiving of the content now housed in the archive.
