As a result of the deal, the governing body has told the other 2018 and 2022 World Cup bidding nations that they will not be allowed to make presentations or promote their bids at the event, news agency Press Association reported.
Delegates of those nations will be accepted as observers while the promotion of their bids during the Africa Cup of Nations in Angola this month will be studied on a case-by-case basis.
According to FIFA, the Congress will be the first main institutional meeting of any of FIFA’s six confederations to be sponsored.
