USOC renews with AT&T

The US Olympic Committee has renewed its sponsorship agreement with telecoms company AT&T to cover the London 2012 Olympics.

The Associated Press reports that the deal is one of the USOC's most important and took nearly a year to complete. The value of the deal is unknown. The USOC's last four-year deal with AT&T was worth around $20 million.

AT&T also has sponsorship deals with several US Olympic sports federations that were pending renewals until the USOC deal was signed. The USOC announced the latest renewal at its quarterly board meeting yesterday.
