Prodrive, led by former Benetton and British American Racing team boss David Richards – also Chairman of Aston Martin – has said publicly it intends to get into Formula One.
Prodrive applied to enter Formula One for next season but were passed over by the sport’s governors. Renault has said it would decide whether or not to continue in Formula One by the end of the year.
