Glaxo joins London 2012 doping fight

Europe’s biggest pharmaceuticals company GlaxoSmithKline is providing athlete drug testing facilities for the London 2012 Olympics.

Reuters reports that GSK is making available one of its research sites, manned by drug control experts from London university King’s College.

David Cowan director of the King’s drug control centre said his team would seek to “protect the health of the athlete and the integrity of the games.”
