The awards ceremony, which was hosted by sports journalist and broadcaster Rob Bonnet, saw Wrigley’s Extra: Extra 90+ win the Business to Consumer Award, beating strong competition from Coke Zero Presents: Wayne Rooney’s Street Striker, PUMA Ocean Racing and Vodafone Taxi Grand Prix.
PUMA Ocean Racing triumphed in the International Award. Other award winners were DHL Express Sweden – DHL Football Delivered (Business to Business), Heineken Internal Table Football Competition (HitFC) (Business to Employee) and Nicotinell - Helping Football Fans Kick the Habit (Business to Community).
Entries for the Awards were received from ten European countries and were all assessed by an independent panel of expert judges from across the continent.
The Awards Ceremony was being held as part of the annual two-day European sponsorship conference, Future Sponsorship, which is being staged this year at the May Fair hotel in London.
