Virgin Blue’s deal involves sponsoring the club’s training gear and includes logo placement on the team’s playing shorts.
Australian Sponsorship News reports that Virgin Blue chief executive Brett Godfrey said his company thought it important to stick with the sponsorship, despite current difficult trading conditions for the airline.
“Our team at Virgin Blue has been really impressed with the collaboration and the spirit that surrounds South Sydney and we are keen to continue our support for the club," he said.
