Ohuruogu joins the opening panel of the conference, “Building on the momentum – women and sport in 2009”, which also features BBC Director of Sport Barbara Slater, Chief Executive of the Women’s Sport and Fitness Foundation Sue Tibballs, Head of England Women’s Cricket Clare Connor OBE, IRB Council Member Carol Isherwood OBE, and BBC broadcaster and journalist Mary Rhodes.
The Women and Sport Conference will focus on the growth of women’s sport in the United Kingdom, looking at media, sponsorship, marketing and funding.
