Sports Recruitment International, which is dedicated to the international business of sport, was founded in 2001 and focuses on middle-to-executive level opportunities, recruiting across the full breadth of the sports industry.
ASIA SPORTS 2009 is a forum dedicated to the future of the business of sport in Asia, taking place in Kuala Lumpur from November 23 to 25. Its goal is to encourage the development of professional expertise, and the adoption of dynamic, cutting-edge and distinctly Asian business models.
“The potential of the Sports Industry in Asia is well documented but having being working within the region for the last 18 months, we recognise that there needs to be greater importance on the level of skills attributed to each position within the industry,” said Will Lloyd, co-Founder of Sports Recruitment International.
“The willingness to do a job is different from having the ability and with the investment in sport from both public and private organizations we hope that we can help source, develop and retain some of that talent to fulfill the potential of sport in Asia.”
ASIA SPORTS 2009 will feature some of the leading figures from the Asian and global sports scenes including Mohamed Bin Hammam (President of the Asian Football Confederation), Manu Sawhney (Managing Director of ESPN STAR Sports) and Sundar Raman (COO of the Indian Premier League).
