The organisers of the event said Teixeira will report on preparations for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, and provide an insight into how the country plans to host both that event and the 2016 Summer Olympics when they run so closely together.
Teixeira joins other members of FIFA’s executive committee who are appearing at Soccerex, including president Joseph S. Blatter, Franz Beckenbauer and Rafael Salguero.
The conference takes place November 30 to December 2.
