The list includes Guinness, Vodafone, Heineken, McDonalds, Bacardi and PUMA. Both Bacardi and PUMA are shortlisted in two categories; Bacardi’s ‘Champions Drink Responsibly’ campaign is named in both the ESA International and ESA Business to Community categories, whilst PUMA Ocean Racing reached the final stage in both the ESA International and ESA Business to Consumer categories.
Turkish mobile telecommunications organisation Turk Telekom is listed in both the ESA Business to Community and ESA Business to Employee categories, with its ‘Schools and Beyond – for the Education of Turkey’s Young’ project.
Entries were received from ten European countries and have all been judged by a panel of expert judges from across the continent. The ceremony will be hosted by BBC sports journalist and broadcaster Rob Bonnet.
The 2009 Awards benefit from a number of important partnerships. For the second year running, these include Icon, who will produce the staging and signage; Action Images who will look after the event photography, and Indivisual, the AV content production.
