Each bid city’s National Organising Committee notified the International Olympic Committee of their nomination before the October 15 deadline.
The winner will be announced in Durban, South Africa in July 2011. Before that the cities face a two-stage evaluation process including the completing of a questionnaire and the submission of a detailed file explaining its hosting plan.
