The Olympic Gold Ball raises money for the BOA to provide funding for athletes and help prepare Team GB for future successes in both the Summer of Winter Olympics. Over 50 Olympic medallists will attend, including Sir Matthew Pinsent, Denise Lewis and Duncan Goodhew.

Atos Origin is committed to the success of the BOA and Team GB and currently supports a number of young British athletes from across many sports through the Bursary Scheme, which we set up in association with the BOA in 2005,“ said Derek Ward, executive vice president at Atos Origin.

The Olympic Gold Ball will take place on October 29 at the Natural History Museum in London and will celebrate 1000 days to go until London hosts the 2012 Olympic Games.
