Leaders in Football boasts business growth

Annual football business event Leaders in Football reported growth across its entire business, including a 94 per cent increase in sponsorship revenue, following its event last week at Chelsea FC.

Over 45 countries were represented at the event with 42 per cent of the 1045 delegates coming from overseas. Delegate revenue was up by over 50 per cent and the event received an approval rating of over 94 per cent with 82 per cent of delegates expecting to do business in the next 2 months.

James Worrall, CEO of Leaders in Football said Leaders took “a strategic decision at the beginning of the year to build on last year with the goal of establishing Leaders in Football as the premium annual event for the international football industry.”

He added: “In a market that is crowded, we felt that it was important to focus all year round on quality of content and attendees rather than diluting the product and, judging by the feedback, that decision has been vindicated.”

Eleven international television crews covered the event alongside over 100 accredited media.
