The deal will see IMG advise Tennis Properties Limited (TPL), the media rights holder and host broadcaster of the series, on the sale of its rights until the end of 2013, extending a relationship that began in 2001.
IMG Sports Media Executive Vice President Michel Masquelier, said “We are absolutely delighted to have renewed the deal with TPL/ATP Media especially given men’s tennis has never been stronger than it is today. You have at least ten guys every event challenging for these titles, and with the quality and quantity of the content available it makes the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 and the ATP World Tour Finals a must have for broadcasters across the world.”
The ATP World Tour Masters 1000 is a mandatory series of events for the world’s top men’s players. The series ends each season with the eight-player World Tour finals, which will take place from 2009 to 2013 at the O2 arena in London.
