A delegation from the Middle East will include HH Mohammed bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani and Hassan Al Thawadi, respectively Chairman and Chief Executive of the Qatar 2022 World Cup Bid; Dr Athanasios Batsilas, Chief Operating Officer of the AFC Asian Cup 2011 Local Organising Committee; and over 20 senior delegates from the Abu Dhabi Sport Council including its Chief Executive, Dr Khalid Mohd Abdullah Al-Hashmi, and Vice Executive Director, Khaled Mohamed Awadh Al Khazragy.
Euro 2012 joint host Ukraine will be represented by Valeriy Zhaldak, First Deputy Director of the Euro 2012 Organisation Co-ordination Bureau; Andriy Mykytiv, Head of Stadia Operations for LOC; and Yevhen Chervonenko, First Deputy Mayor, Kyiv City Administration. The delegation will be aiming to meet commercial suppliers who can support their preparations.
Ukraine’s Euro 2012 hosting partner Poland is sending Renata Wiśniowska, Project Director, Investments Euro 2012 Office of Gdańsk; Rafał Kapler, Member of the Board for Organisation of Euro 2012; and Tadesz Zygmunt, National Coordinator for Safety. This delegation too is looking for partners to help Poland deliver a successful Euro 2012.
World Cup 2014 hosts Brazil are sending Fernando Ladeira Fernandes, 2014 World Cup Project Manager; José Fortunati, Municipal Secretary for the 2014 World Cup; Fabio Simão, Football Co-ordinator, 2014 World Cup Committee; and Jose Roberto Bernasconi, President of Brazilian engineering and architecture trade body SINAENCO.
