Top English club managers link with Leaders in Football

The League Managers Association (LMA), the trade body for professional football team managers in England, has become an official event partner of the Leaders in Football conference which takes place at Chelsea FC, London, this October 7 and 8.

The tie-up will see Premier League managers Roy Hodgson, of Fulham FC, and Mick McCarthy of Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, join the line-up of speakers at the event. The two managers will join a panel from the LMA also featuring its chief executive Richard Bevan and chairman Howard Wilkinson.

“We are delighted to be involved with Leaders in Football,” said Bevan, “it is where the world of football gathers to discuss the challenges and opportunities we face in an ever-changing business landscape. The LMA is at the forefront of promoting the concerns and long-term welfare of football managers within that environment.”

The LMA speakers join, among others, Jack Warner, President of Concacaf; Lord Triesman, Chairman of the Football Association; Sunil Gulati, President of the United States Soccer Federation; Lord Mawhinney, Chairman of The Football League; Andy Roxburgh, UEFA Technical Director; Tim Leiweke, President and CEO AEG; Andy Anson, Chief Executive of 2018 FIFA World Cup England and Harold Mayne-Nicholls, President of the Chilean FA.
