The Times of India reports that team owners are complaining that they were left out of the loop in the decision, which is expected to be top of the agenda at a meeting of the IPL's Governing Council in Mumbai on September 2, at which all senior BCCI officials are expected.
The BCCI terminated the IMG contract as it believed the agency was overcharging for its services. The Times of India reports that IMG was paid Rs 43 crore for the first edition of the IPL, in 2008, and Rs 33 crore for the 2009 edition, held in South Africa.
