The deal will see the two parties undertake joint promotional activities, AirTran get signage at the Falcon’s Georgia Dome home stadium, one of AirTran’s Boeing 717 aircraft being designed with a Falcons theme, and post billboards advertising the partnership.
AirTran already had deals with Falcons players, including star quarterback Matt Ryan, and also with NFL teams the Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts.
