“It’s been as active as we’ve been in the ticket department in one day, for sure,” said Vikings vice president of sales and marketing Steve LaCroix, as reported by Bloomberg.
The Vikings sold around 55,000 season tickets last year, but struggled to sell out all its matches, and had to turn to sponsors to get rid of remaining tickets.
Quarterback Favre is the NFL’s all-time leading passer and three-times the league’s Most Valuable Player. This is the second time he has come out of retirement, and the next season will be his 19th professional season.
