It is Wasps’ biggest ever sponsorship deal, with the value being delivered both in cash and the provision of IT services. The two parties said they would be working together to use the information that Wasps holds to improve the experience at the club for fans, players, coaches, staff and business partners.
EMC has been official partner of the team for the past two seasons, and the new deal elevates it to the position of club sponsor.
EMC provides information infrastructure technology and solutions and had worldwide revenues of $15 billion in 2008, employing 38,000 people in 60 countries.
