The deal was agreed with North One Television, the UK television company that produces broadcast coverage of World Rally Championship, the Isle of Man TT, and previously Formula One for UK commercial broadcaster ITV.
North One will produce the coverage of the final of the World Freerun Championships. The BBC will show it on digital channel BBC3.
The organisers of the championships, now in its second year, expect a crowd of up to 7,000 for the event. The event is sponsored by credit card brand Barclaycard.
