Tom Bender of Germany’s professional football league, the DFL, and Dr Robert Niemann of DFL Sports Enterprises will make a presentation at this year’s Soccerex conference.
Bender is chief marketing officer of the DFL, which includes the Bundesliga, Germany’s top division and Europe’s second-most profitable football league, behind the English Premier League, according to Deloitte.
Dr Niemann is chief executive of DFL Sports Enterprises, a subsidiary set up by the league last year to sell its media rights. This month the operation has agreed three new broadcast deals, including with ESPN in Brazil.
The speakers will speak to Soccerex delegates about the work of the new subsidiary and the continuing financial strength of the Bundesliga. The conference takes place November 30 to December 2 this year in Johannesburg.
