Sports marketing agency Total Sports Asia (TSA) has signed a partnership with video content management and delivery platform Octopus Media Technology to launch a TSA sports broadband channel.

www.TotalSports.tv will be available across the world - with a core focus on Asia - and will provide consumers with live free and pay streaming content. The internet channel will also include social media interaction.

“We are very excited with the launch of our internet sports channel as it will give us a platform to fully exploit our vast sports rights and those of our clients to deliver content directly to the fans,” said Marcus Luer, Group CEO of TSA.

“The channel will also help our partners to commercialize much of their unsold internet rights. With the aid of Octopus, we are confident that TotalSports.tv will evolve into a “go-to” live video platform, offering access to content that was previously unavailable on the net.”

Andrew Eborn, founder and President of OctopusMT, added: “I am delighted to have formed this strategic alliance with TSA. Using OctopusMT’s leading edge technology and TSA’s marketing expertise we will enable several sports to be enjoyed in new and exciting ways by a wider audience around the world. I very much look forward to a long and successful working relationship.”

Fans in Asia can access live streaming and delayed content from the upcoming World Badminton Championships as well as US Open Tennis as the channel's inaugural offering after its launch on 7 August.
