A friendly match between England and Brazil has been proposed to be held in the Qatar capital Doha during November.
The English Football Association needs to fulfil a contractual obligation to play Brazil in an away friendly as part of a bargain struck when they agreed to be the opponents for the opening match at the new Wembley Stadium in 2007.
November 14 has been proposed as a date for the game, which would coincide with the World Cup qualifying play-off matches for second-placed teams should England not finish top of Group Six. However England can seal World Cup qualification in their next match against Croatia at Wembley.
Premier League champions Manchester United earned more than £1 million last year for a one-off match in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
