Chinese electronics company Haier has agreed a sponsorship deal with NBA team the New Jersey Nets.
Asia Sponsorship News reports that the new deal will see Haier set up a store in the Nets planned $800 million Barclays Centre arena in Brooklyn. The value is unknown, but Asia Sponsorship News says similar deals at the Barclays Centre for drinks company Jones Soda Shoppe and entertainment venue operator Foxwoods are worth over $100 million.
Haier is already the NBA’s official high-definition television.
