Stéphane Schindler, the chief operating officer at Lagardère Sports, has been announced as a speaker at the Soccerex 09 convention in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Schindler will speak at a session entitled “Future Trends in Sports Marketing”, alongside representatives from IMG and Havas Sports & Entertainment.
He has previously worked for Eurosport France, Canal+, IMG/TWI as international vice president of TWI and director of IMG Media France. His current employer, Lagardère Sports, is one of the biggest companies in the international sports marketing business, and its assets include media rights agencies Sportfive and IEC in Sports.
Soccerex 09 takes place November 28 to December 2.
