Football business event Leaders in Football has agreed a sponsorship deal with hospitality services company Compass Group for its 2009 event on 7-8 October at Chelsea FC.
Under the terms of the agreement, Compass Group will provide a premium and complimentary catering and drinks service for all delegates and a number of networking breakfasts, lunches and evening receptions.
“As a leading player in the sports hospitality industry, it makes sense for us to partner such a prestigious event as Leaders in Football,” said David James, Compass Group’s business director of sporting division. “It will allow us to showcase our expertise in the provision of hospitality, catering, retail and C&B solutions to some of the biggest names in world football. The fact that the event is being held at Chelsea FC, one of our most prestigious clients, only adds to the logic of this partnership.”

Compass will also become one of the sponsors of the exclusive VIP Leaders dinner on 7 October, which will be attended by 200 of the world’s leading executives in honour of one of world’s great football players, which will be announced on the evening.
