The Kentaro agency will distribute the international television rights for the pre-season Audi Cup tournament featuring Manchester United, AC Milan, Bayern Munich and Boca Juniors.
The two-day competition takes place on July 29 and 30 in Munich’s Allianz Arena, with Manchester United facing Boca Juniors, and Bayern Munich facing AC Milan in the first, semi-final matches. The competition has been organised to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Audi car brand.
The rights add to Kentaro’s portfolio of media rights for pre-season football tournaments which already includes the Emirates Cup in the first week of August, featuring Arsenal, Glasgow Rangers, Paris St-Germain, and Atletico Madrid; and the World Football Challenge on July 19 to 26, which features Chelsea, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Club América of Mexico.
