South African financial services company Standard Bank has renewed its sponsorship of the World Twenty20 cricket championship.
The Indiantelevision.com website reports that the company also sponsors the South African Twenty20 team taking part in the event, which takes place in England on June 5 to 21. Standard Bank was also a partner of the last World Twenty20 in South Africa in 2007.
Standard Bank will have marketing and branding rights at the three venues for the championship. It is also sponsoring broadcasts of the event in South Africa on Supersport and SABC.
