The MP & Silva agency will exclusively distribute the media rights of the 5th East Asian Games, taking place in Hong Kong this December, under a new deal with the organisers of the event.
MP & Silva will sell rights for free-to-air and pay-television, IPTV, mobile and internet coverage. It will also help the organisers with the delivery of feeds from the host broadcasters to international broadcasters.
This year’s East Asian Games will involve over 3,000 athletes from nine territories in the region – China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Macau, Chinese Taipei and Guam – competing in 281 events across 23 sports. It is the biggest East Asian Games since the event’s inception in 1993.
