San Francisco-based airline Virgin America has agreed a new multi-year sponsorship deal with Major League Baseball team the San Francisco Giants.
Virgin America will be the Giants’ ‘official airline’ through to end-October 2011 under the deal, and will have branding and promotions in the team’s stadium during matches.
Porter Gale, Vice President of Marketing for Virgin America, said, “As the only airline headquartered in San Francisco, we’re thrilled about this partnership with our hometown team as it will enable us to show our support and continue to grow our community footprint.”
