New Zealand sportswear brand Canterbury has agreed a four-year extension to its kit supply deal with South Africa Rugby. The deal period covers the forthcoming British & Irish Lions tour of the South Africa and the World Cup 2011.
The new deal runs until 2013 and will see Canterbury supply SA Rugby with apparel including jerseys, training kit, ‘BaseLayer’ clothing, and off-field clothing. Canterbury will also work with SA Rugby to develop a new strip for the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
Canterbury also has deals in South Africa with Super 14 team The Sharks and with South Africa player Bryan Habana.
