Europe’s largest pro-am golf tournament, the PGA National Pro-Am Championship, has agreed a sponsorship deal with British airline Virgin Atlantic.
This year’s PGA National Pro Am Championship final will be played at the PGA Sultan Course at Antalya Golf Club, Turkey, for the third year in a row. The tournament carries a £30,000 prize fund, and all 16 finalists will also benefit from an all expenses paid trip to the Sirene Beach & Golf Resort in early December. The tournament is for professional and amateur golfers from clubs across the UK and Ireland.
Virgin Atlantic has also been the European Ryder Cup team’s trans-Atlantic carrier for the past two Ryder Cups played in the US.
