Austrian confectionery specialist Josef Manner & Comp AG agreed a deal to sponsor the TelDaFax FIS-Team-Tour organised by the German Ski Association (DSV).
The competition sees country teams compete for positions in an international ski-jumping tournament. DSV marketer Sportfive brokered the deal, which secures various advertising measures and a presence at all Team-Tour events for the company.
Michael Baumgärtner, head of marketing and sales at Josef Manner & Comp AG, said: "Manner is a historic Austrian company and a deeply committed sponsor of ski jumping. Ski jumping is extremely popular, especially in Austria and Germany, two of our core markets, and the newly-arranged Team-Tour offers Manner the ideal setting for a successful sponsorship engagement."
"In Manner, we have found another strong partner to this attractive competition," said Stefan Krauss, marketing chief of the German Skiing Association (DSV). "We look forward to working together and are sure to be able to stage a successful Team Tour with Manner and the other sponsors, as well as our marketer, SPORTFIVE."
"Ski jumping is attractive content for television and also a sport enjoyed by spectators at the jumps. As the number of sponsors has been deliberately kept down, each of DSV's partners will get a lot of attention," said Philipp Hasenbein, managing director of Sportfive.
