From January 2009, this two-and-a-half year deal will see Thomas Cook Sport offering discount holidays to fans through the new Aston Villa Holiday Club.

Fans will be able to buy anything from flights to hotels to complete holiday packages, all at guaranteed discount prices. This can be done by calling into any Thomas Cook store or by visiting www.thomascooksport.com. Thomas Cook Sport will also be offering official Match Break packages to Villa’s home matches. All packages include a minimum of one night’s accommodation, match ticket and programme.

From the start of the 2009/2010 season, Thomas Cook Sport will become Aston Villa’s Official Travel Partner providing team and supporter travel to matches, including official travel packages to all of the clubs away matches, including any European games.

Aston Villa’s Chief Operating Officer, Paul Faulkner said: "We are delighted to be entering this partnership with a leading international brand such as Thomas Cook. Not only will this relationship benefit our fans by providing them with discounts on holidays, it is also part of our plan to develop and strengthen key commercial partnerships off the field in line with some excellent performances from the team on the pitch.”

Over the last five years we have worked incredibly hard to build strong relationships with the UK’s top football clubs and we are obviously delighted to add Aston Villa to that growing portfolio.”

Thomas Cook Sport, launched five years ago is the official travel partner of Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur as well as Celtic and Rangers in Scotland. The company also offers official match breaks for Manchester United, Fulham and Stoke City.
