The Global Sport Forum Barcelona will seek to tackle the key issues such as environment, the economy, health, education and sustainable development that impact sport and vice versa.

For two-and-a-half days in Barcelona, the Global Sports Forum will host sportsmen and women, captains of industry, the media and sport decision makers as they debate the real challenges facing global sport today.

A new and innovative programme
 which addresses every aspect of sport will look to examine:• Proving the value of creativity in a period of economic crisis.
• Sport and the environment: does it deserve a yellow card?
• Are we heading towards a new physical and financial sporting map?
• When sport gives something back to society.
• The vital role of branding at major sporting events.
• Sport and the media: playing a pivotal role in creating new links between society, 
culture and business.
• Sport as a political and diplomatic tool.
• Equality, emancipation: sport’s role in improving integration.
• Sport in the virtual world.
• Sport, health and ethics: what’s at stake?
