Sochi 2014 opens tender for sponsors

The Sochi 2014 Organising Committee announced the release of the first Categories of Products and Services now open to top-tier domestic sponsors.

The Sochi 2014 Organising Committee announced the release of the first Categories of Products and Services now open to top-tier domestic sponsors.

The following Product and Service categories have been released: Metallurgy, Oil, Gas, Banking Services, Telecommunication Services, Sportswear and Apparel. After a thorough selection and evaluation process one company in each of the released categories will be given the status of Sochi 2014 General Partner. The exclusive rights and privileges gained by the selected Partners will be valid throughout Russia over the course of the next eight years. Companies representing selected categories will also have the opportunity to take part in a public tender process to compete for all the rights and privileges of XXII Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games 2014 General Partner status.

We are not just choosing commercial partners – we are choosing allies”.

Invitations to tender were sent out to industry leaders in each of the categories, published on the Sochi 2014 official web-site www.sochi2014.com. The Sochi 2014 Marketing Program in Russia will hopes to sign up to eights General Partners, up to 10 Official Partners and up to 15 suppliers to become Sochi 2014 Partners.
