England's cricket team have been offered a revised schedule for their tour of India, but will await a security report before making any decision, according to UK press reports.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) told reporters that players will not be forced to go following the terror attacks in Mumbai, but that they have agreed to the Ahmedabad and Mumbai Tests switching to Chennai and Mohali, the first starting on 11 December. It is understood that travel will be limited as much as possible, with England flying directly to Chennai to start the tour. A planned three-day warm-up match has also been cancelled.
Professional Cricketers' Association chief executive Sean Morris told BBC Sport: "We'll go through the information in groups with the players and then help them come to a decision. We'll have a position as a whole, but there will always be the opportunity for personal decisions."
The England squad returned to the UK last Friday after the final two matches of the one-day series in India were cancelled.
