MP & Silva (MPS) agreed a five-year deal for the Middle East’s premier men’s tennis tournament, the Qatar ExxonMobil Open, until 2013.
The deal includes terrestrial free-to-air television, satellite and cable television, Internet protocol television (IPTV), mobile television, mobile, and internet and broadband television rights for the Qatar Open.

Tennis is growing rapidly in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific and we are determined to raise the profile, visibility and popularity of the Qatar Open, as well as the revamped ATP circuit, across in Asia and to the rest of the world together with our media partners.”
The Qatar Open was the first ATP event in the Gulf, and currently has one of the biggest cash prize on the ATP International Series. From 2009, the Qatar Open will be rebranded as a 250 Series event, as part of ATP’s revamped tour circuit.
