Tessa Jowell, Minister for the Olympics and Stephanie Ankrah, Marketing Manager for Women’s Training at Nike are to speak at the WSFF Annual Conference on Monday.
At the conference, ‘Creating a Nation of Active Women’, Tessa will introduce the event and share her thoughts on why the 2012 Games provide such a unique opportunity to champion women’s sport in Britain. Under the banner ‘The consumer decides’, Stephanie will share the experience of Nike to look at the lessons sport can learn on tailoring products and services towards the individual needs of women.
Building on last year’s ground-breaking event which, drew widespread national attention to the crisis in women’s physical activity, this year’s conference will set out the solutions, and explore how to unlock the potential in women’s sport.
