UEFA, European football’s governing body, invited interested parties to bid for the media rights for the European Under-21 Championship.
Winning bidders in each region will be awarded the exclusive TV rights as well as internet and mobile content to the 15-match final tournament. Delayed matches and highlights rights will also be sold. TEAM Marketing AG will handle the global sales process.
The competition, which will be held in Sweden between 15-19 June 2009 will take place in four cities: Gothenburg, Halmstad, Malmo and Helsingbor. Countries participating will include Germany, Italy, Serbia, Belarus, England, Finland, and Spain.
