brandRapport set up an agreement with Avantgarde, a full service global marketing agency, to establish a German office.

The establishment of a German operation on top of its UK, France and Hong Kong offices has been a key priority and Avantgarde and brandRapport will begin working together in Germany immediately on a number of existing programmes for clients as well as on future new business initiatives.

Avantgarde has specialist expertise in all aspects of marketing including advertising, PR, sponsorship, promotions and event management and has a network of offices in key worldwide locations such as Dubai, Shanghai, Beijing and Moscow as well as its base in Germany where it has offices in Munich, Cologne and Berlin. The company has a client list that includes, BMW, Microsoft, AEG, Sony, Audi, Fosters, L’Oreal, Volkswagen and Vodafone. Shared brandRapport/Avantgarde clients will be serviced by a joint team from the two companies and will begin working together with some members of brandRapport UK basing themselves in Germany.

brandRapport’s Managing Director Andy Dwyer said, “The partnership with Avantgarde is crucial to our expansion across further territories. Avantgarde’s market knowledge and our sponsorship expertise will be very important in developing our overall offering to clients. As well as establishing a second presence in mainland Europe, it is vital that we strengthen our expertise in areas where we feel there will be real growth opportunities in the sponsorship market and Avantgarde can provide us with the perfect network to implement our development plans.

Founder of Avantgarde, Martin Schnaack said, “This is a wonderful opportunity for both companies to expand and develop their levels of expertise in different marketing sectors and in new territories. It is important in a tough financial climate to be able to focus our efforts on the marketing trends and geographical sectors that will offer significant and exciting new challenges in the years to come”.

In the past 12 months brandRapport has added a number of new clients to a list which includes, Vodafone, E.ON, Nationwide, Thomas Cook Sport, LV, UBS, AXA, Betfair and Magners. brandRapport was acquired by QobliQ in December 2007 and in May, brandRapport completed the acquisition of SponsorClick in Paris which has now become brandRapport France as part of its expansion across Europe.
