Eurosport renews BSB deal

Pan-European broadcaster, Eurosport, has renewed its TV rights deal with MotorSport Vision to broadcast the British Superbike Championship for a further two seasons.

Pan-European broadcaster, Eurosport, has renewed its TV rights deal with MotorSport Vision to broadcast the British Superbike Championship for a further two seasons.

Under the deal, Eurosport 2 will show a four-hour live show of each of the 12 rounds, featuring both Superbike races, British Supersport Championship and additional support races. In addition, race day highlights will be repeated, while British Superbikes Extra will feature action from the British 125GP, National Superstock and KTM RC8 Championships.

Dave Kerr, British Eurosport director, said: “This season has proved what an excellent series BSB is, with great racing and spectacle for fans to enjoy. We are delighted therefore to extend our relationship with MSV and retain the British Superbike Championship on Eurosport for a further two seasons. It is great news for us and for fans and we are confident the quality of racing and our coverage will go from strength to strength.”

Eurosport 2 has a reach of 32 million homes in the UK.
