TSN agreed a deal with the the NHL to become the exclusive global distributor of real-time NHL game statistics to Web sites, broadcasters, arenas, fantasy games and selected mobile applications.
TSN, the largest privately owned international sports information provider in North America, will market and distribute real-time scores and official NHL stats generated by NHL HITS (Hockey and Information Tracking System), including boxscore data, cumulative season statistics for players and teams, player career statistics, league standings and official scoring leaders.
In addition, TSN will market and distribute the "NHL Daily Dose," a daily online video that briefly re-caps NHL action from the night before.
