The Kentaro agency agreed a six-year deal with the US Soccer Federation (USSF) to distribute its global media rights.
Under the deal, all FIFA World Cup qualifiers and selected friendly matches played by US national teams will be exclusively brokered by Kentaro. The Swiss agency will also be responsible for the marketing of the international broadcast and new media rights covering certain territories outside the US.
Kentaro CEO, Philipp Grothe, said: “We are delighted to have attracted yet another highly-respected federation as a partner. There is so much potential in American soccer. It will be an honor to help further enhance US Soccer’s international pedigree.”
The partnership marks the continuation of the two-year relationship between the parties that has seen Kentaro and USSF stage a string of high-profile friendlies featuring the matches of the US men´s national team against Argentina and Brazil.
